Direct Forms
In addition to attaching Forms to Events, Prices, or other items in Ludus, you can also share a direct link to a Form. These Direct Forms can be shared via URL or QR code and are incredibly helpful if you are trying to collect information and data without attaching the Form to something.
Once shared, you will be able to access and export all of the Direct Form entries from your account.
Create a Form
If you have not yet created a Form, see Create a Form and it will bring you through the process.
Get the Direct Share Link
There are 2 locations to find the Direct Share Link for a Form.
Forms Page Share Link
Navigate to More (at the top of the admin panel) -> Forms.
Once there, select Share (next to the Form).
From here, you will see a pop-up with the URL and the QR code. Both can be shared as needed!
Individual Form Page Share Link
Navigate to More (at the top of the admin panel) -> Forms.
Once there, select the 3 dots (next to the Form you wish to access) -> Settings.
On the Settings page for that Form, you can select the Share tab (at the top right corner).
In the Share pop-up, you can copy the URL or QR code and share it as needed.
It is important to share all Links as they are shown on your Share page. Adding the "www" prefix to a link in Ludus will prevent your link from working.
What can I use the Direct Form for?
Direct Forms and their Entries have a wide variety of uses!
These include, but are not limited to:
- Share a survey via Ludus Campaigns.
- Gather data for an upcoming performance.
- See Event Messaging for ways to email your patrons before an event.
- Share out post-event surveys.
- See Automations for more post-event email information.
- Get audience feedback or interest in upcoming events.
- Feel out interest in special events.
- Check-in with and survey Volunteers via Volunteer Management.
- Survey interest in Classes that you might want to offer.
The possibilities are endless and all the information can easily be accessed and exported via CSV at any time!
