# Seating Chart Legend

We understand that sometimes a generic label for seating type doesn't match your ticket price, and can cause confusion among patrons. Luckily, we've made this easy to change within the *Seating Chart Editor.*

### Change Legend Labels

Select the **More **dropdown → choose **Seating Charts **→ and click **Edit **beside your seating chart. Then, within the *Legend*, click the **Pencil **button (on the far right). Enter the new labels for your seating types, and be sure to **Save **when done. Once saved your updated Labels will appear on the patron and admin side for that specific seating chart!

It is important not to use special characters such as "&"  in your legend.  Saving a legend with these types of characters will result in an error. If this happens, the chart can be recovered from the last saved version by using Recovery, located under the 3 dots on the seating chart page.
