Gift Cards Report
If enabled on your account, the Gift Cards Report will display any gift card sales that have been made. Suggested Article: Enable the Gift Cards feature
From this report, you can set a date range and each gift card that was sold in that time frame will appear as a row on the report. You can sort and filter columns by various data points. See the terms and definitions breakdown below!
This report is ideal for a more in-depth comparison and the ability to sort by specific data points. For a high-level overview and to easily see outstanding gift card balances, view the main Gift Cards page by clicking More --> Gift Cards from the top navigation bar.
To pull a Gift Cards report, click Reports (from the top navigation bar) --> Gift Cards. Use the boxes for "Start" and "End" to set a date range.
Each row on the Gift Cards report represents a unique gift card sold during the specified date range. Each column shows a different piece of data for the gift card.
- Code - The code for the gift card. Used by patrons to redeem value.
- Type - The payment method for the gift card. (Credit, cash, comp, etc.)
- Balance - The remaining value on the gift card.
- Amount - The initial dollar amount for the gift card.
- Fee - The total amount of fees that were absorbed on the purchase. This does not display fees that were passed on to patrons. To have this reflected in your reporting, please contact Ludus Support.
- Received - The revenue received by your organization for a gift card purchase.
- First Name, Last Name, Email - The contact information for the patron who received the gift card.
- From First Name, From Last Name, From Email - The contact information for the patron who purchased the gift card.
- Message - Any message left by the purchaser to the recipient.
- Submit Date - The date and time the gift card was purchased.
