when selling collections or classes, you can allow patrons to request an invoice for the total due with the invoice me feature invoice me is an optional feature that can be enabled on a collection or class basis it is also possible to have certain fees offer the ability to invoice and others not offer that option if desired within the same collection or class when invoice me is active on a class or collections fee, patrons will be able to select to pay later on the checkout screen which will automatically issue an invoice if a fee is not eligible for invoice me there will be a message stating so partial payment of the invoice generated by invoice me can be done via the admin panel in invoicing and is subject to the same fee as an admin issued invoice invoice me does not affect the ability of an admin to send an invoice it only allows for patrons to request to be invoiced without the need to contact the box office or account administrator turn on invoice me for your collection or class turning on invoice me can be done when making a new collection or class or by going to options and selecting settings once you select invoice me a second setting will appear, which allows you to set the due date for invoices created by the patron you have the following options custom date this can be set to be a specific date before the class or collection opens or after the class or collections end date days after invoice is sent by default is set to 14 days, but you can be changed days before collection deadline this can set the due date for invoices requested by patrons to the number of days before the class begins these settings do not have any effect on the due dates of invoices sent by an admin via the admin panel what invoice me looks like to your patrons when the pay later option is available the title pay later available messaging will appear to your patron in the fee selection and checkout screens when selecting fees the pay later available message will appear next to the fee as shown below on the checkout screen patrons will see the option to pay now or pay later when a fee with the pay later option is in the cart clicking confirm and send me invoice will finish the transaction and show the patron that the invoice was sent the next change patrons will see will happen if they create an order that mixes items that cannot utilize the invoice me option with ones that can or when items would have different payment due dates in these situations, there will be a message explaining why paying later is not possible on the transaction as well as details patrons will be able to easily remove conflicting items if they wish to use pay later, or simply elect to pay during checkout
