Membership Renewals
When a membership is set up to be auto-renewing it is purchased via a credit card online. This could be Monthly, Every 3 Months, Every 6 Months, or Yearly. When one of these recurring memberships is purchased with a credit card that membership will auto-renew indefinitely until the patron cancels the membership.
When a recurring membership is purchased by credit card the patron will get an email showing the membership purchased and a link to manage the recurring payments.
Memberships that don't have a payment card on file due to being cash or comp, will receive an email to renew 7 days before the expiration of the membership so that they can renew by adding a credit card.
Patrons will receive an email alerting them of the upcoming renewal as well as when the renewal charge is processed for the membership.
Memberships can be canceled at any time by the patron by accessing by clicking the Manage your recurring payment link in the email.
When accessed patrons will see the the below screen where they can do the following:
- Cancel the membership
- Update the payment method including updating/changing credit cards
- Edit the billing information
- See a history of charges for the membership.
