Overview of payment options

Online Sales (Patron Self-Serve)
When patrons purchase tickets online themselves (self-serve), they can select from the following payment methods:
- Card (credit or debit) — all major card brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- Apple Pay — Patrons will be given an Apple Pay option if their browser/device supports Apple Pay
- Google Pay — Patrons will be given a Google Pay option if their browser/device supports Google Pay
At the Box Office (In-Person)
If you are processing sales in person or over the phone at your box office, you'll use your Ludus admin panel. Patrons can pay by:
- Card (credit or debit) — All major card brands including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- Cash — As an admin, you and your sellers have the ability to mark sales as "Cash".
- Contactless — A Ludus Payment Terminal is required for contactless payments like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-to-pay methods in-person. A Payment Terminal can be purchased in your admin panel under More -> Supplies Shop.
- Custom Payment Methods - Set custom fields for payments such as "Check"
- Invoice - Admins can issue an invoice for payment for Events, Collections, or Classes. through the admin panel so payment can be taken later either online or in person.
