Admin may process partial payments towards an invoice balance.  These payments can be made via all payment methods that you accept.

Partial payments are only an option for the Admin to process.  Patrons cannot elect to make a partial payment online.

Partial payments and paying the full invoice amount will have the same fee. To locate your account fees, click the **Settings (Gear Icon)** on the top navigation bar -> then select **Fees**.

### Accepting a Partial Payment on an Invoice.

Navigate to **More**, on the top navigation, and select **Invoicing.**

Locate the invoice needed and click View.

When the invoice opens, select the Collect Payment button.

A pop-up window will appear.  From here, you can select the payment method and enter the amount they are paying in the "Amount Due" box.

**Note -** You can make multiple partial payments towards an invoice using these steps.

Patrons will be sent an email with the new balance due after each partial or full payment is recorded.

### Fees for Partial Payments

Fees for partial payments are the same as for the full invoice. They are 5% + $1.25. This fee saves money because patrons are not charged per item, but instead for the entire invoice. This fee can be passed on to the patron or absorbed.
