what are post purchase offers? after a patron completes their order, they may see an optional promotional offer on the confirmation page below the main actions of retrieving their tickets this does not affect their tickets, payment, or checkout experience, nor is it required for a patron to interact with it — they can simply ignore it, or can claim an offer if they see value in it why are post purchase offers being shown? these offers provide an additional revenue stream that helps us keep costs low for organizations using ludus they appear only after checkout is fully complete and can be ignored do these offers affect the purchase process? no the offer appears after the order is confirmed and payment has gone through it does not change the speed, flow, or outcome of the purchase is patron data still secure? yes patron data is not sold or shared with 3rd parties, which is against ludus’s privacy policy and terms of service temporary encrypted checkout session data is used for targeted offers for relevancy are these offers required? no they are entirely optional patrons can ignore the offer and leave the page do these offers add anything to a patron’s order? no nothing is added automatically to accept an offer, the patron must explicitly opt in by clicking the button and following the offer claim process does this change the cost of tickets or fees? no pricing, fees, and the purchase itself remain the same can our organization turn this off? because the offer supports the ludus platform and helps keep costs low for all organizations, it is enabled globally and cannot be disabled individually if a patron asks about it , the simplest explanation is the offer appears after checkout is complete and can be ignored entirely it doesn’t affect your purchase in any way what types of ads are displayed? types of ads a subscription discount a local service offer a complimentary trial exact examples 1 free month of paramount+ free grubhub+ for amazon prime members 3 months free of sirius xm are inappropriate 18+ offers and other categories blocked? yes we worked with our account manager at rokt to block all verticals unsuitable for our market, such as adult, gambling, credit loans, etc
