Whether you have a patron call in or send in a check/cash, you might need to manually enter that donation from your admin panel. Luckily, this is super simple to do within Ludus.

### Process an Admin Donation

Navigate to **Fundraising** --> **Donations**

Click **New Donation**

Choose which type of payment you will process (Use other for any custom payment methods you have set up. 

Additionally, if the patron wishes to set up a recurring donation you can set that up as:

- One-Time
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Yearly

Fill out any patron information and click **Proceed to Payment or Collect** if it is cash, check, etc.

The memo field, if used, will appear in the patron's email confirmation.

As an admin, you can also choose whether to send a confirmation email or to allow the patron to cover processing fees (for credit transactions only). To determine, select the checkboxes at the bottom of the form.

### Process a Donation from the Patron Site

When patrons process a donation, under the donations tab, they will simply select the donation amount (whether under **Make a Donation**,** Individual Donor Levels**, or a **Fundraiser**).

When making a donation, they can also easily choose whether to give once, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

Depending on what a patron chooses, they will then be brought to the cart and then to the checkout for their donation.

Patrons can also update their donation frequency and amount in the cart.
