Remove Seats from a Seating Chart

you may find yourself in a position where a seat is damaged and you need to remove seats from your chart you might also want to remove rows for an event either way, you can easily remove seats from a chart in the seating chart editor to begin, go to more (at the top) > seating charts > and click edit next to the chart in seating charts be be aware if a seat chart is in use, you need to ensure that you have not sold the seats you are going to remove failure to note and exchange any tickets sold for these seats will cause your sold/remaining numbers to be off, as well as the patron not having a seat upon arrival remove seats from your seating chart locate the seat to remove in your chart click on the seat once to turn the seat off it will turn grey this makes the seat not sellable anywhere but leaves it on the chart clicking on the seat a second and then a third time will turn it back on save your chart when completed change the number of seats in a row to change the number of seats in a row you can hover over the row in the seating chart editor and click edit on the right of the row this will open the row creation screen where you can edit the number of seats present in the row simply edit the number of seats for the row and click save be sure to verify that all seats are labeled correctly in the row after editing removing seats from a table locate the seat to remove in your chart click on the seat once to turn the seat off it will turn grey this makes the seat not sellable anywhere but leaves it on the chart this is helpful when you want to show all seats at a table but want to sell the table as one seat selection/ticket for the table click on the seat a second time to remove the seat from the table this allows you to show a specific configuration of seats at the table clicking the seat a third time will turn it back on click save when completed changing the number of seats at a table to edit the number of seats at a table you can click on the table itself and then select the edit icon from the toolbar in the seat chart editor this will open the table editor on a round table, you can simply edit the number of seats to appear at the table and save square tables must have at least 1 seat defined for top/bottom as well as the sides to form the shape of the table you can turn those seats off once you have defined the table using the instructions above but you can edit those numbers as needed save the chart when you are done
