Below, we'll cover how to create an Early Bird ticket price that automatically expires at a specific time, immediately making a higher-priced ticket available.

If you already have ticket prices created for an event, you can edit those prices instead of creating new ones.

## Set up your Early Bird ticket price

The Early Bird ticket price is the lower/discounted price available to patrons until a specific time. At that point, your higher-priced ticket will become available.

Go to **Pricing** -> **Ticket Prices** next to your event -> and click the **+ Ticket Price** button to create a new ticket price.

Enter "Early Bird" for the name (or whatever you want to name the ticket), enter a price, and configure any other settings you'd like.
:::

Click **Additional Options **at the bottom of the page to open a new panel of options.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Using the "Availability" option under "Sale Ends," select ***On a specific date/time*** and set the date/time you'd like the Early Bird price to *turn off* (become unavailable).

## Set up your higher-priced ticket

Once your Early Bird ticket price expires, you'll need to set a higher-priced ticket that will become available after the early bird pricing window ends.

::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
Go to **Pricing** -> **Ticket Prices** next to your event -> and click the **+ Ticket Price** button to create a new ticket price.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Enter the name for your higher-priced ticket price (such as "General"), enter a price, and any other settings you'd like to set.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Click **Additional Options** at the bottom of the page to open a new panel of options.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Using the "Availability" option under "Sales Start," select ***When sales end for another price*** and select the "Early Bird" ticket price in the dropdown.

This means the higher-priced ticket price will become available once the Early Bird ticket price ends.

**You are all set!** Your higher-priced ticket will become available once your Early Bird price becomes unavailable.

You can also create multiple prices to turn on once Early Bird sales end (maybe an Adult and Student-priced ticket- just repeat the "Setup your higher-priced ticket" steps above).

You can also expand on the concept of Early Bird pricing and sequence ticket prices to change as the event date approaches, such as going from $10 four weeks out to $15 three weeks out to $20 two weeks out. This feature is intended to be flexible to your needs!

Regardless of whether a price is available, all prices will always be selectable via your admin panel when selling tickets using the **New Order** button or Box Office View. As an admin, you always have access to all your ticket prices unless you delete them.
