Stripe Link Pay & Ludus
Stripe Link Pay is an easier way for your patrons to pay for items on your Ludus page without having to enter their payment details every time they make a purchase.
Stripe Link Pay is currently available on tens of thousands of websites across the web, so this brings a familiar way to pay to many of your patrons.
Currently, ~45% of patrons on Ludus opt to use their existing Link Pay or enroll into Link Pay for future usage.
Note - Stripe Link Pay is available on all accounts for patrons. This is NOT available on the admin side, only on the patron side via self-checkouts.
One-Time Setup
When the patron first uses Stripe Link Pay on Ludus or ACH (electronic bank transfer), they will enter their payment information, such as their credit card details or bank account. They'll also provide some basic information like their name and email. This step only happens once.
Note - If a patron has already used Stripe Link Pay on a different website, they generally won’t need to enter their information again on a new site that supports Stripe Link Pay. Patron will be asked to verify their identity with phone number or email.
Fast Checkout
After they have entered their information, whenever they purchase items from your Ludus account, they can automatically use Stripe Link Pay; they would just choose that payment method. Stripe will remember their payment info, so they don’t need to type it in every time!
Secure Checkout
This method of payment is safe, as Stripe uses encryption to protect the patron's information, and they just need to confirm their payment with a couple of clicks.
Stripe Link Pay will help make paying online quicker and easier for your patrons, as it saves their payment details securely for future use. They will not have to worry about typing out their card numbers each time they make a purchase!
