# View Gift Card History

Similar to viewing the status of gift cards, you might need to view gift card history. This can be a useful report and one that can help keep tabs on who has gift cards and which ones are still active. 

To view the Gift Card history:

Go to **More** (at the top of your admin panel) -> **Gift Cards.** From here you will see the:

- Gift Card Code
- To whom the Gift Card was sent
- Who the Gift Card was sent from
- The type of sale (cash, credit, or comp)
- Initial Amount on the card
- The balance left on the card
- The Status (Active, Expired, Disabled)
