Ask questions of Class registrants (Student profiles vs. Form submissions)
There are two main ways that you can ask questions of your class registrants. In general, we suggest using Student profile questions for items that will live with the student year after year, and using questions on Forms for information that is only relevant to the class at hand. Check out each section below to learn more.
Adding questions to the Student profile
Every time someone registers themselves or a child for class, they are asked to create a student profile. These responses will stay attached to the profile and can be edited year after year. By default, these questions are asked of students:
First Name, Last Name, Email, Date of Birth, Allergies, Accommodations, Medications, Photo Permission, Comments, Grade
You can make each question required or optional, remove questions, and even add your own custom questions. Any questions you want to know, regardless of the class they are registering for, should go here. (i.e., Pronouns, Emergency Contact Information, Acknowledgments)

Adding questions through Forms
You might have some questions that are only relevant to the class at hand, and you don’t want them to live on the student profile year after year. For instance, “What is your tap dancing experience?” “What color camp shirt would you like?” For questions like these, we suggest attaching a form to your registration.
To create a form, you will want to click More → Forms in your top navigation bar. Then, click +New Form. From there, you can name your form and add any questions you need.

Once you have created the form, you can attach it to your class registrations by going to Collections → Classes → Options (next to the event title) → Settings. Under the “Form” section, simply choose your form from the drop-down menu and click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

All responses from registrants can be viewed in various ways. We recommend viewing the Class Roster.
When viewing your class, click the Class Roster for the desired date. This spreadsheet will break down each attendee with responses to questions from the student profile and any attached forms.
There will also be a handy link to open a specific student’s profile.
