Exchange an order
Whether or not you permit exchanges is at the discretion of your organization. Within Ludus, you can exchange tickets to a different seat within the same event time, another event time within the same event, or a completely different event overall. Check out the steps below to learn how to make an exchange.
To look up the order, navigate to the Search Bar/Magnifying Glass and enter the patron's name.
Next, select the correct order to open and access the exchange function.

Once the order is selected and opened, scroll down to the section titled "Tickets" and select the ticket(s) you wish to refund.
Click Exchange.
Choose the new event/event time from the list of options.
Choose the new seats from the seating chart. (This step will disappear for general admission events)
Use the dropdown menu at the bottom to verify the ticket type. For example, if you originally had an adult ticket and are exchanging it for a senior ticket, you can change using the dropdown menu.
Verify the exchange details to make sure everything looks correct and click Confirm Exchange to finalize. (Optional: Insert order details as to why the exchange was made)
If you went up or down in price value during step 6, you might have a refund due or need to collect payment. For cash payments, it will show the amount owed/due in cash. For card orders, the refund will be made to the card used at checkout. For card orders that require additional payment, card information will need to be captured again.
