Patron-to-Patron Ticket Transfers

Ludus allows for patron-to-patron ticket transfers (at your discretion). This feature allows patrons to transfer their purchased tickets to other patrons directly from their confirmation page, making it super easy to send tickets to others in their party such as family, grandparents, friends, etc.



How Patrons Transfer Tickets

The process for patrons is simple:

  1. Patrons click or tap the Begin Transfer button on their confirmation screen and select the tickets they want to transfer. (The confirmation screen can be located anytime by clicking the View My Order in the confirmation email.)
  2. Enter the recipient's email address or phone number
  3. The recipient will receive an email or text message with a link to claim the tickets by entering their contact information. They will have 24 hours to update the information before the transfer expires.
  4. Upon successfully claiming the tickets, a separate order will be recorded in the system with the activity log saying the order was created via a transfer.

Transfers are simply a transfer of tickets or items — no money exchanges hands between patrons. You will still receive the same amount of money for the original order.
