look through the following sections for tips and tricks on utilizing retail best! pay what you can if you wish to set up a "pay what you can" item for retail, you can set that up as a $0 item in the system once set up, you can go through the purchase process, adding a donation for what the patron can pay to add a donation to a $0 retail item go to your retail app and log in once in, you will go to retail (at the bottom) > sell items from here, you will select your complimentary item for the patron by tapping on that item once this item comes up, select add to cart at the bottom of the screen when that item has been added to the cart, you will then be brought to the processing page from here, you can add discount , add donation , or simply process order select add a donation below your cart/complimentary item in this case on the discount tab, you can select a set amount of money or enter a custom amount, and also select a category for the donation (if applicable) once finished, select add donation at the bottom of the screen once the donation is added to the cart, you can select process order note fees are absorbed by your group on all donations via retail to process the order, you can select card (via the mobile reader) cash (collected by you) gift card (apply as needed) complimentary (apply as needed) manually enter credit card (if no mobile reader is present) finally, you will see the option to share a receipt with your patron by print (if enabled/connected to your phone) email text you can also select no receipt if not needed whichever you select will be the way that the receipt is shared with the patron it will look similar to this why don't i see the retail option on my app? if you have logged into your app and do not see the retail option, be sure to check the following items is your app up to date with the latest version? is retail something you have access to? it may be that your account access is limited and does not include retail in this case, be sure to talk to the account owner to get that updated if needed finally, if you are using the "quick" login under more (top of the account) > mobile apps > quick login (access codes) this will not show the retail tab
