Absorb fees for Admin Panel Sales

Within Ludus, you can choose whether you'd like to pass on or absorb the Ludus fee on a per-event basis (same with collections, classes, and passes). This can be done under the general settings for an event. Suggested Article: Add an Event

By default, this setting will apply for both online and in-person sales. If desired, you can enable a setting so that your organization absorbs fees automatically for any purchase that is made from your admin panel such as in-person box office transactions or sales made from a phone call.



To enable this setting:

From the top navigation bar, click the Settings wheel icon (⚙️) in the upper right-hand corner.

Click the Fees tab.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and for "Absorb Fees for Admin Sales" click the button for "Yes".

Click Save Settings.



By selecting yes on this setting, your organization will absorb fees for any transaction that is processed from your admin panel. This includes any Invoiced tickets that are sold. All absorbed fees will appear on your reporting.
