Allow Volunteers To Cancel Shifts

In Volunteers, you can allow your volunteers to cancel shifts that they have signed up for.  When this happens the volunteer is removed from the shift and is not allowed to sign back up for the same shift within that same opportunity.  They can however sign up for any other shift, in that same opportunity or any other opportunity.
Admins also cannot sign up a volunteer for the same shift within the opportunity once it has been canceled by the volunteer.  An Admin can however undo the cancellation of the shift.
A volunteer can use the My Account Link on your Ludus page to access their purchase activity as well as their volunteer profile and the opportunities they have signed up for.

After logging in to their account they can locate see their Hours Volunteered, Roles that they are approved for,  Upcoming Shifts, as well as New Opportunities they might be interested in volunteering for.

To cancel a shift the volunteer would simply locate the shift to cancel under Upcoming Shifts and click the cancel button.
They then could sign up for another shift in that opportunity, if there are any available, or for other opportunities under New Opportunities.

Note: The New Opportunities only lists 2-3 additional opportunities,  If you have more than that available volunteers can click the See All button to the right of that title.

An Admin can restore a volunteer to a shift that was denied or canceled by following the below-listed steps:

From the Volunteers page, select Requests, and then Shifts.

Use the dropdown next to View to select Denied.  The resulting screen will display all volunteers who have had a shift denied by an admin or who canceled their shift themselves.

Locate the Shift you wish to allow the volunteer to be put back on and click Undo.
Once you click Undo, the volunteer will be added back onto the shift that they canceled or were denied by an admin.
