Printed Tickets

There are three main ways that patrons can manage their tickets. If they or your organization prefer physical tickets, you will want to utilize printed tickets. There are two main types of ticket printing. Tickets that are print-at-home by the patron and tickets that your organization prints at the box office.

Of the three ticket printing options (Print, Digital, Will Call) you can choose which options are available to your patrons. You and your box office admins will have access to all three options at all times. Suggested Article: Limit Ticket Retrieval Options for Patrons



Print-At-Home

Patrons can print their tickets using any standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Once they have completed their order, they can click Print and their tickets will print using a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.

Box Office Printing

Basic Printing (8.5 x 11)

Once you complete an order, you can click the Print button to print the tickets on an order. By default, box office printed tickets will print to a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Tickets will print four to one side to save your organization paper.

Thermal Printing

When Thermal Printing is enabled in your account for printing via devices like Boca and STIMARE, there are multiple options for you to choose from:

  • Basic Printing - Thermal (5.5x2) — this uses your browser's built-in print dialog to print tickets directly to your thermal ticket printer, ideal for standard 5.5x2 inch ticket stock. Learn more about Basic Printing - Thermal (5.5 x 2)
  • Basic Printing - DYMO — this uses your browser's built-in print dialog to print tickets directly to a DYMO 450 printer.
  • Direct Thermal Printing — for thermal printing using FGL, you'll install a program called QZ Tray that allows Ludus to communicate directly with your thermal printer to send the FGL commands.
