Mac and the Ludus Box Office App
If you do not have access to a mobile device to use with your Mobile Readers , you can also add the app to your Macbook.
Note - If you have not yet set up your Ludus account for the Mobile Reader, please see Initial Set Up of Mobile Reader .
To add the app to your Mac:
Go to the App Store (found on your device).
Search for the Ludus Box Office App and select Get and then Install to download that app.

App Store the App is added to your Mac, you can open and sign in (as if you were on a mobile device).

Once logged in, you will be prompted to turn on Bluetooth and Location Settings. Both are needed for the app to work.
From here, you will be able to:
- Pair your Mobile Reader
- View a Tutorial
- Select Menu (at the top)
Note - While the "Scanner" tab (at the top) is present, this is not accessible via your Mac.

To Pair your Reader, simply select "Pair Reader" to connect to your Mobile Reader.
Once Selected, you will see your Nearby Readers which are listed to Connect to.

Note - Ensure that your Reader is fully charged and turned on when you go to pair it. See Mobile Readers for more information on what it looks/sounds like when the reader is on.
Once your Mobile Reader is paired you will see the following screen where you can select to Collect Payments:

Once selected, your Mobile Reader will be ready to accept transactions.

Once your Mobile Reader is paired, you can go to New Order (or Box Office), next to the Event -> Select the items for purchase -> at the checkout screen, select Credit and Send to Terminal App.

When that purchase is sent to the "Terminal App" you will see that pop-up on your App Screen.
At this point, you can tap, swipe, or insert the chip to collect the payment.
