Reports
There are many reporting capabilities within Ludus. Each one serves a different purpose, depending on what information you want to see and how you prefer it laid out. You can pull reports that are either account-wide or specific to a single event, class, etc. Check out the brief description below to learn what each report is best for.

What can this feature help with?
The Reporting feature in Ludus covers a variety of reports. These are designed to help you track your sales, view patron information, and much more!
Why use this feature?
Whether you need reporting for your finance team/department or you just want to make sure you are tracking data, this will benefit groups of any size.
What makes this feature so special?
Ludus was built for the performing arts by people who care about them, and we want to make your life easier. The Reports feature in Ludus has so many amazing reports, including:
- Reporting Dashboard - The dashboard displays a high-level overview of recent sales along with an area chart displaying sales.
- Summary Report - The Summary Report is best for viewing all collected money, payment type (cash, credit, comp), and the channel that money came through (events, passes, gift cards). Also see a breakdown of "self-serve" online sales versus box office sales, and what each user did in box office sales. This is the "go-to report" and will be most helpful to give an overview of your account.
- Revenue Report - The Revenue Report is going to show what you actually sold each day, week, and month for the timeframe selected. (This is not a view of what was received from Ludus in direct deposits.
- Suggested Article: Proceeds Report
- Itemized Report - The Itemized report will break down each and every transaction, including new sales, donations, refunds, upgrades, etc.
- Orders Report - The Orders Report is going to give you an overview of all orders, as well as the ability to customize what you have visible in that report. For example, you can use this report to see whether they used a gift card or a discount on their order.
- Tickets Report - The Tickets Report is going to give you a total breakdown of each ticket sold, as well as the ability to customize what you have visible in that report. For example, you can use this report to see whether they used a gift card or a discount on their order.

- Passes Report - The Passes Report provides an overview of all passes sold through your Ludus patron site and admin account. You can elect to see only archived and/or credit sales of passes as well.
- Donations Report - The Donations Report will give you a quick look at all donations made to your group. You can also dig deeper into each donation to view more details.
- Volunteers Report - The Global Volunteer Report provides a look into your volunteers and the shifts they have signed up for on Ludus.
- Gift Cards Report - If enabled on your account, the Gift Cards Report will allow you to view all gift card sales.
- Sellers Report - This report is for the end of day (or a selected date range) for the reconciliation of sales by the admin in an account. It will show a summary and an itemized list of those sales.
- Proceeds Report - The Proceeds Report will be a breakdown report of your proceeds from Ludus. If you have elected to receive checks, they will be listed along with tracking information. If you elect to have direct deposits, you will be able to open each deposit and reconcile it in the report.
So how does this feature work?
As you make sales in Ludus, the reporting will expand to show every transaction across the platform's various locations.
Where should I start on the Reports tab?
Global reports are a great place to start. Under More -> Global Reports. These reports will give you an overview of your entire account. If you want to take a closer look at specific events or even event times, you can view those under More (or Options) next to the event itself.
While all of the reports listed below can be pulled account-wide, many can be viewed for a specific event, collection, or class. This allows you to zero in on the data you need very easily. To do so, go to the desired event and click Reports next to the title. There are additional instructions and breakdowns in the help articles listed below.
