Track a sent paper check
When you choose paper checks as your payout option in Ludus, we send the check via USPS First Class mail. Once we mail the check, it's out of our hands and it's up to the USPS to deliver. Many organizations/groups will receive their check within 5-10 business days, but it can take longer depending on your area.
Please ensure that you check all possible mailboxes if at an organization where multiple people may touch your mail (such as at a school or college).
To track the status of a check once it has been sent:
From the top navigation bar, click Reports -> Proceeds.
From the sent check log, click the check you'd like to view.
On the top of the subsequent page, click Track Check.
You'll be brought to a page with all the mailing history including the latest USPS hub it's been at. While there aren't automated notifications or "Out for Delivery" on checks, you can see the latest hub it's been at similar to a normal package.


We recommend adding an "Attn:" in the second address line. You can do this by going to Settings -> Payments and editing the existing payout. This helps ensure the check gets in the right hands when it is delivered.
