Refund a Gift Card
Gift Cards can be refunded to the original method of purchase if needed. The following steps will bring you through how to refund the purchase of a Gift Card.
Locate the gift card to be refunded. You can do this via Reports-> Gift Cards or through the Gift Card Screen located under More, top Navigation, and then Gift Card.
Select the gift card to refund by clicking either the code (If you are on the Gift Card Screen) or by clicking the icon to open the order from the report screen.
Click the Refund button on the order details.
A new window will open up to process the refund. From here you can:
- Enter the reason for the refund in the drop-down
- Enter the amount of the refund
- It can be in full or partially refunded
- Enter optional details of the refund
- Enter an email address to send the confirmation to.
Note: all refunds are sent back to the original purchase method.
Click Refund to process the refund.
Credit Card refunds will be processed automatically, cash or Check refunds must be issued by your group.
You cannot refund any more than the current balance on the gift card. If any of the balance has been used, that cannot be refunded unless the tickets/items purchased with the gift card are also refunded.
