When you Create a Pledge, you have the option to Email Patron Pledge Information.
Initial Pledge Notification
When this is selected and the Pledge is saved, a patron will receive an email similar to this:
Patrons can then open that link and view their Pledge. They can also choose to Pay the total remaining or, if you have allowed partial payments, enter a Customer Amount.
If you allow partial payments toward a pledge, a patron can share the link from their email with friends, and multiple people can contribute toward the pledge!

Progress Notification
As patrons make payments towards their pledge, they will receive updates via email:

Finally, once the Pledge is fulfilled, they will receive an email letting them know their pledge has been fulfilled:
