How Pledging Works
When a donor commits to making a future gift, you can create a pledge record in Ludus and track payments as they are received.
Each pledge includes:
- The donor who made the commitment
- The total pledged amount
- The date the pledge was made
- Payments received toward the pledge
- The remaining balance owed
As payments are recorded, Ludus automatically updates the pledge's progress so you can quickly see how much has been fulfilled and how much remains.
